May 9, 2018: Community of Conscience Breakfast
May 9, 2018, 7:30 – 9:00 AM
Revere Hotel Boston Common, 200 Stuart Street, Boston (map)
Just a few days before Mother’s Day, join Casa Myrna and our closest friends and supporters to celebrate the strength of survivor moms and the resilience of the families they nurture. Our premier annual event will feature uplifting insights from Boston City Councilor Ayanna Pressley, renowned journalist and community activist Reverend Liz Walker, and a courageous Casa Myrna survivor mother speaking out publicly for the first time.

Mamá. माँ. Maman. 妈妈. Mom.
Whatever her children call her, every mother overcomes challenges big and small so they’ll grow up happy and safe. But all too many mothers must survive an experience no one should ever have to face: protecting themselves and their families from abuse. One in five children lives in a home where domestic violence took place in the last year.
Since 1977, Casa Myrna has been there to help survivors and their children escape domestic violence and recover from the trauma it leaves behind. Across the decades, one thing has remained the same: how fiercely the women we serve love their children, and how dedicated they are to providing safe homes where their children will not only heal but thrive.
Give Back and Get Inspired
Thanks to your generosity, each night countless survivors tuck their children into bed and sleep peacefully knowing that they’re safe. Our celebration of these mothers’ strength won’t be complete without you. Join us.
